David Blythin

David was called to the Bar in 1999 and joined chambers in June 2003. He has 15 years experience in both public and private sector finance management prior to coming to the Bar. David was also a manager with mental health services in North West Wales, and has extensive experience of the operation and application of mental health legislation.

His practice covers family, criminal, public and mental health law.

David completed his pupillage with Queen Square Chambers in Bristol. He is a fluent Welsh speaker, and native of North Wales and lives there with his daughter.

His passions are North Wales, rugby union, film, books, fine food and fine wine, and his daughter......though not necessarily in that order. He is currently working his way through the 2010 Good Food Guide.
