Shan is a Family Law specialist and a member of the Family Law Bar Association.
Shan was born in Bangor and is fluent Welsh speaker. Shan practised in Cardiff until 1999 when she joined 1 Stanley Place Chambers Family Law Specialist

Public Law Disputes concerning cases for Local Authorities and parents as well as extended family members.

Shan also represents children, either directly or through their Guardians.

Her experience covers all aspects of care and adoption proceedings, including cases involving contested issues of fact, complex medical evidence and cases involving foreign elements.

Private Law Proceedings involving serious allegations of abuse.

Financial Disputes including ancillary relief, cohabitation and Inheritance Act claims.

She has appeared at all levels from Family Proceedings Court up to and including the Court of Appeal.

Personal Interests:
Shan is a keen cyclist and completes regularly in mountain bike and duathlon events. Shan has been on cycling expeditions to Peru and Everest Base Camps.
